Submissions Should:
Be 100% original and not published anywhere else. We use Copyscape to check every submission. If a potential contributor is discovered to be plagiarizing or re-publishing content, they will be permanently blacklisted.
Be within the scope of the JAM Organizing Blog. If you are uncertain, please email us.
Be well-written, clear, interesting, and above all, helpful.
Not contain spelling or grammar errors.
Provide attribution for all data or statistics cited with a hyperlink.
Not be overly self-promotional.
Be 1,200 - 1,800 words in length.
Include no more than one link to your company's website in the body of the post.
Not sell a product or recommend a particular product or service. You’re writing to share your expertise, information, insights, and ideas with our audience.
Have one space after punctuation. One. Please.
Images:
No images required until topic has been approved.
Featured photo is required.
Images are accepted from Pixabay, Pexels, Unsplash, etc. - any site that releases all licenses. Please email your chosen photo’s link with your submission. Our staff will download all photos.
We love your personal photos! Please include a Copyright Release Form.
We reserve the right to replace or remove images we deem irrelevant to the post or those with a negative connotation without prior notice.

Editors reserve the right to reject contributions at their discretion.
Guest contributors may not republish their published contribution to the JAM Organizing Blog anywhere else.
Editors reserve the right to edit, adapt, update, and republish contributions at their discretion.
Once published, contributor content becomes the property of JAM Organizing.
In rare cases, contributed posts may be removed from the blog.
Any links that appear promotional or superfluous will be removed by editorial staff.
What to Write About:
You're welcome to draw on your own experiences for ideas/topics.
Always try to go beyond the basics/obvious.
The most successful articles tend to be:
Lists (e.g., examples, tips, tools, tactics)
How-to articles/guides
Explainer posts (e.g., what is… /why x matters)
Expert roundups
Opinion posts/commentary/think-pieces
Always provide actionable tips and practical advice. Be the expert!
How to Submit:
Email us at info@jamorganizing.com with the subject line "JAM Blog Pitch." Let us know what you'd like to write about and why you think it's a good fit. (No need to send completed work right away, unless you really, really want to.) It's also a good idea to link to prior work. Please note that while our editors strive to respond to every inquiry in a timely manner, they are not always able to do so.
